No cat should have to pole vault to get into their litter boxes. If your tiny, little kitten or older, arthritic cat struggles to climb in and out of their litter boxes, they’ll be less likely to use them. Make litter box access easy for your cat, no matter what their stage of life: Choose boxes with at least one low side, or add a ramp or step-up to make getting in and out easier.
