Senior Dog Comfort & Care

Mind their business

Our dogs need us like we need them! And one thing they really need as they age is our attention. Not only companionship but mindful observation is necessary to track how they’re doing. If only dogs could speak!

You’ll want to be on the lookout for signs of pain, unusual breath odors, lumps and bumps, changes in activity level, mobility, eating habits, vision, hearing, behavior, and mental sharpness. Take note of these changes (see how in Tip #36) and bring them up during your next veterinary visit.

You know your dog best … if something seems off, it likely is. Early detection means early treatment and the best quality of life possible! Your companionship and mindful observation are two of the best gifts you can give your dog for all the unconditional love they give you.
