Supplements aren’t just for Gwyneth!

Supplements help with many age-related conditions. But not all supplements are created equal! Buy high-quality, purity-tested supplements formulated or recommended by a veterinarian to ensure your dog gets the most benefits. Avoid any artificial flavorings, additives, or fillers.

Joints: To prevent or slow down arthritis, stick to well-researched ingredients like glucosamine, chondroitin, Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM), curcumin, undenatured type II collagen, and avocado soybean unsaponfiables (ASUs). Additionally, Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) in fish oil turns off the enzyme that causes cartilage deterioration.

Skin, heart, and kidneys: Supplement with omega-3 fatty acids, specifically EPA and Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). They are present in fish oils and help decrease inflammation in your dog’s body.

Gastrointestinal tract: Stress and illness can alter the intestinal microbial balance, leading to diarrhea, gas, or cramping. Probiotics support a healthy GI tract, which helps boost your dog’s immune system.

Never give human supplements since they may contain toxic ingredients for dogs, like xylitol, vitamin D, iron, calcium, etc.
