Preventive Vet is a collection of mission-driven animal lovers and experts dedicated to making life better for pets and their people. Started in 2011, our mission is to provide reliable information, practical advice, and the tools you need to enjoy the best life with your pet. We believe that prevention is the key to a long and healthy life for your companion.
Dr. Beth has been a veterinarian for over 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge and a big heart for senior pets. She is a North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine graduate, and in 2007 accomplished her dream of owning her own practice. Her passion for preventive care and commitment to improving the lives of senior cats shines through in every piece of advice she offers.
LeeAnna is certified in Feline Training and Behavior through Animal Behavior Institute. She chose this path after realizing that, even though she'd had cats for more than 40 years, she never truly understood the reasons behind their behavior or appreciated just how unique and complex they were. Now she helps others have the same eye-opening experience so they can better love and support their feline families.
Along with the Preventive Vet team, Dr. Beth and LeeAnna have crafted this informative guide packed with essential tips to help senior cats enjoy their golden years. With their combined expertise and love for animals, they provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to ensure your senior cat enjoys a happy, healthy, and comfortable life.
