Senior Cat Comfort & Care

I can’t run, but I’ll getcha!

Even senior kitties with very limited mobility can still benefit from play, both physically and mentally.

Battery-powered toys are great because they can have movement to grab your cat’s attention without requiring a lot of chasing and energy.

Stationary battery-powered toys are full of fun. Butterflies can flutter around a base, a furry toy can scurry under a piece of fabric, or a bug-like critter can pop in and out of holes for your cat to catch.

You can use other types of battery-powered toys by limiting where they can go. They stay close to your cat but will still spark that prey drive through movement. For example, set a hex bug loose in a low-sided box for your cat.

There are also stationary options that move by your cat’s power, like ball-and-track toys or toys at the end of a string or wire secured to the wall or floor.

Lots of options for less mobile kitties to get their hunt on.
