Senior Cat Comfort & Care

Cats of any age feel more secure when they have multiples of each important resource, and those resources are spread throughout the home.

This is especially important for senior kitties who may not have the energy or mobility to head all the way downstairs to get to the closest litter box or down the hall to get to the water bowl.

Make it easy on your senior. Lots of resources. Lots of different locations. This increases their security moving through the home. And it encourages a little movement.

If your cat has very limited mobility or pain with movement, it’s still a good idea to spread resources out. But you also want to ensure they have everything they need close to their preferred hangout space so they aren’t forced to move when their bodies aren’t up for it.
